We started with the idea to raise the spirits of people in homeless shelters by giving them nourishing soap stamped with encouraging words. Then, friends and family encouraged us to sell our products after noticing amazing results compared to their store bought soaps. In most cases, commercial soaps are harsh and cause dryness. Handmade soaps like the Only Soaps, are made up of oils which do not strip your skin of its own natural oils. You will see the difference after the first use. At the Only Soap, we use the best oils and select additives that give you a luxurious bathing experience. Safe fragrance oils with no harmful chemicals and essential oil blends are used not only for skin benefits, but also because they are mood-boosting. We want you to look forward to getting ready for your day with soaps that have visual appeal, a great scent, and make your skin feel smooth and healthy!
Every product we make has our health and yours in mind. We don't sell anything that we don't use ourselves. Our body butters, bug repellent, shampoo bars, deodorant, and other products are made with mostly organic base oils and are free from hormone disrupting chemicals. We follow international safety guidelines when applying essential oils and fragrances to our products.
We strongly believe in giving back. It was desire to serve our community that led to The Only Soap's inception. We donate soap to our local food bank and a large non-profit organization serving people experiencing homelessness. We limit waste. Our soap scraps are used to make milled soap to serve people in need.
